What IS a Master Gardener??
As trained members of a volunteer program under the auspices of Washington State University Extension, Master Gardeners provide information to home gardeners about sound and sustainable gardening practices including integrated pest management, efficient watering systems, soil improvement and choosing appropriate plants.

What Master Gardeners do:

Master Gardener PLANT CLINICS

Thursdays, 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at Brinnon Community Center, 1-3 pm.  Call Karen Sickel at (360) 796-4550  for more information.

Fridays, Port Townsend Food Co-Op, 2-6 pm. Starting May 9th.

Saturdays, 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at Quilcene Community Center, 12-3 pm.  Call Mike McFadden at (360) 765-3312  for more information.

Coming This Summer to Forks!  Special Plant Clinics in partnership with Clallam County Master Gardeners, 2nd Saturday of June, July, and August 2008.

We help you identify plant diseases, bugs tormenting your gardens, spiders spinning webs in your dahlias, spots on your apples, and have a lot of fun researching together.  We do not investigate pests or problems in your house -- we'll leave that to the pest control professionals -- we focus on garden questions.
