Master Gardener Monthly Meetings
Join us for a fun and rewarding experience!

Master Gardener Foundation General Meetings are open to the public and usually are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm at WSU Extension in Port Hadlock.

Master Gardener Foundation Board Meetings are usually held the 1st Monday of the month at 7pm at WSU Extension in Port Hadlock. 


NEXT MASTER GARDENER FOUNDATION GENERAL MEETING: 

 Monday, September 14th, 7 P.M.

 

Several of the Jefferson County Master Gardener Foundation’s grant recipients will be speaking at the Sept. 14 Foundation Meeting.  Members will be able to learn first hand how the grants helped these groups make progress on their worthy projects.  The groups that will be represented (and their project) will be:

Quimper Community Harvest (Seth Rolland)

Further their gleaning efforts to pick and gather fruit that would otherwise go to waste)

Grant Street School -- (Dorothy Stengel)

Student worm bin compost and gardening project

Sunfield School  -- (Jude Rubin)

Edible Landscape Plan around three buildings

OlyCap P-Patch (Bonnie White)

Being formed in Spring of 09, some plots dedicated to food bank

Oak Street Community Garden –(Shannon Davis)

Establish bee hives in the garden.
